This week was uneventful since I had to focus on work. Its EOM so we need to chase targets. I decided to post what happened last weekend instead. Bleh. The team was surprisingly complete for a Thursday so the gang decided to have a quickie at the nearby Gorky's to have some pasta and wings. It's a short walk from Ecoplaza and it was the nearest stop we can get close to good food.
We had the pasta promo at Php 99.00 served with free iced tea. Since we are suki they had an idea on what we would have. Most of us had Mandistelefono which is their take on mac and cheese but with penne instead. It was sinful yet divine. The cheese is not that strong and overpowering. There is still room left for an additional dash of parmesan. :)
My office mate Sam would never eat any meal without any hint of heat so she ordered the Spicy Shrimp. It is shrimp sauteed in olive oil with pepper flakes and mixed with pomodoro sauce. Since the heat was not enough, she had to add more pepper flakes.
Our meal would not be complete if we didn't have our favorite Buffalo wings. The wings come in three varieties: Semi-serious, Serious and Delirious. Since Sam was the only uber hot girl in the group, we only settled for Semi-serious. The only way to lessen the heat is to dip it in the ranch/yogurt dip. Not bad for Php 165.00.
Since we had our fill, we went back to work and finished our shifts. Good thing we never felt sleepy after eating. It's nice to end the shift like this. :P
