Saturday is for Splurging

Nothing left to do on a Saturday afternoon, I asked Dang if we could meet up so I can pay for the Bora tickets. Good thing she was too lazy to work and agreed to meet me in Gateway. I was able to pay for the tickets and I'm thrilled that we're a step closer to our Bora vacation.

Normally Gateway would be one of those peaceful malls except for its cinemas. Last Saturday was a different case though. Too bad everyone was there thanks to the UAAP match between eternal rivals ADMU and DLSU. A lot of college students were wearing their teams color. As if on queue we were wearing green as well without even knowing. It seemed that we were rooting for the Archers, but to be honest, we couldn't care less. We'd rather watch the cheerdance on September. Bleh.

We met with Kari and Lori at Teriyaki Boy (suki!) to avoid the maddening crowd. Good thing there were only few in the area, so we were able to have a chat with them. Lori was good enough to sell the features of Samsung Galaxy S and before we knew it we were at Cyberzone in SM Cubao to check for phones. Dang originally wanted a BB Torch, but Samsung won in the end. With new gadgets also came new accessories! We bought cheap casing and a screen protector. It was a steal @ 21K all in all.

After the splurge we had dinner at Gumbo. It was Dang's first time so we looked for sumptuous finds in the menu. The oysters caught her attention and after a few minutes we were feasting on them. Spaghetti with Chicken Marsala was a compliment to the dish.

Who knew I'd love eating them oysters?! Lolz. We were too full so we had to walk around and chat some more before we realized that we needed sleep. I had a hard time sleeping that night. I guess the excitement is building up since Bora is just a month away. :D
